Kryptoluotsi.com's 8 review principles
Below are our concrete rules for reviewing brands. Every crypto exchange goes through the same template, and the order of our lists cannot be bought.
1. Reviews are based on verifiable information
We don't assess a crypto exchange on the basis of an advert or press release alone. Every review collects the same information from the service's price list, terms of use and official registers. We say openly that reviews are based on public information, and we don't present them as our own tests. See how we review.
2. We don't sell positions in our lists
The order of our comparison tables and cards comes directly from the scoring. The size of a commission doesn't move anyone up the list, and we don't receive one-off fees for adding a service to the site.
3. We only list supervised operators
We only list exchanges that hold a licence under the EU's MiCA regulation. This is an absolute minimum requirement, not one feature among others. Our exact exclusion criteria are here.
4. We mark commercial links clearly
Every partner link is clearly marked as a commercial link. You never have to guess whether a link is an ordinary source reference or a commercial affiliate link.
5. Scores are based on the same criteria
Each area (fees, sign-up, withdrawals, security) is scored with the same criteria for every exchange. The scores are the editorial team's assessment, and brand image alone doesn't raise a score.
6. We publish both pros and cons
Every review has a visible pros and cons section. We don't leave a service's weaknesses unmentioned, even when there is a commercial partnership.
7. First-hand experiences are clearly marked
When a review describes a first-hand user experience, it is based on a real situation. When we describe how a process usually goes, it is marked as a general description or an example. See how the editorial team works.
8. We update when something changes
Fees, withdrawal times and interfaces change over time, so we update a review when something significant changes in the service. More on how and when we update content is in our editorial policy.
How do we make money?
Kryptoluotsi.com is an affiliate site: when you sign up with a service through our link, we may receive a commission. This costs you nothing extra, and it is disclosed both in the site footer and next to each comparison card. We don't get paid simply because you click a link; a commission usually requires that the click leads to a sign-up or other completed action.
Kryptoluotsi.com's content is general information about crypto, not investment advice.
